Let me float on a melody,
soft and true,
filled with hope, love and peace
and a sacred beauty that disappears this blue.

sadness...

I'm so sad...
but i'm not fighting it-
not anymore...
the fatigue from fighting
is worse than the sadness...
my sadness dances with my joy
and i cherish the melancholy...
it is what keeps me thankful for all i've been thru...
i sit back & watch sadness & joy dance
to the song of my soul & i know...
when i'm old & gray, i will have no regrets
for i will have lived...really lived...
